Happy its Wednesday....

It has been a crazy week for me!! I have just wanted to cover my head and stay in bed because I already know my day is going to be full of disgruntle people. I am just happy that Friday is right around the corner and then I have only 2 more weeks til my Christmas Vacation ya!!!!

I haven't started my Christmas shopping but I am not rushing this year I have 2 1/2 weeks off so I have a little time to get things together. Then I am having Christmas Eve dinner at my house this year so I am on a mission to find the perfect dishes to serve to my mom, dad, sister, hopefully soon to be bother-in-law, my cousin, her son, and my hubby and daughter (deep breath out!):) But I am very excited I just can't wait...I am so blessed to have the ones that I love the most be with me on Christmas Eve.

In Savannah Ga.

Ok so its Friday afternoon and I am in the hotel writing about my trip waiting for Jason to wake up from his nap and Ali is in Port Wentworth, Ga. with my parents. We had a wonderful couple of days in Savannah. We did a tour on Thursday morning and then had an amazing dinner with people that mean the most to me.
Early this morning (midnight) we decided to drive to Hilton Head, South Carolina and do some shopping. I have never in my life seen soooo many people gather in one place besides at weddings. The parking lots were full in 2.5 seconds and people were lined up at the doors tapping on the windows beging to be let in. We have decided that we can live with out going shopping the day after Thanksgiving. We are buying online this year.

Jason and I got about 4 hours of sleep and then we got up and had a wonderful breakfest in the City Market which is right across the street from our hotel. I will post pictures as soon as we get home on Sunday.

I must say Savannah is breath taking. I have to thank Donna for getting this wonderful hotel that is right on Bay st. across from Riverstreet.

My Saturday Morning...

I am so new to this Blogging thing. I have a Myspace which I love, but i don't blog on there I just keep in touch with some old friends and family.

Ok so I have spent my Saturday looking at some houses in South Tampa, and packing for our (long needed) family vacation. I found this decent looking house in South Tampa with a pool for a really reasonable price. It has 3 brs and 1.5 bath. But the thing that sold me the most was the pool in the back It was breath taking. I took my mom by and we looked around and found some things that might make this house a NO NO for us! It had water damage and it needed new tile and carpet. We spoke to some neighbors and they told us that we would probably spend 10 to 15 grand on repairs. AHHHH, I guess that means NO WAY! We have some time before we have to move but it doesn't hurt to look now.

Our VACATION... :) I can't wait to get on the road and check into our hotel and eat eat eat! We love being in Savannah. Jason has not had a vacation in almost a year so this is something not only I am looking forward to but I know Jason is too! We love the 6 hour drive and the country air.
